THE STORY
Lanzini Body Works
I’ve known Mitch Lanzini since I was 16 years old. We both came up in Southern California’s custom mini-truck scene, sharing a love for custom cars and music. I even moonlighted in Mitch’s band whenever my own band wasn’t rehearsing or playing.
For more than 25 years, I’ve also had the privilege of building and managing the Lanzini Body Works website, watching the business grow through some incredible years—including the Overhaulin’ era and Mitch’s work alongside Chip Foose.
The Lanzinis are a lot like the cars they build: when they love something, they don’t simply replace it because something newer comes along. Their website was no different.
As technology changed, we continued adapting the original site while preserving the look and personality they loved. Over the years, that became increasingly challenging, and eventually even a classic needs more than another update—it needs a complete rebuild.
After all these years, Lanzini Body Works has a completely redeveloped website, built for today’s technology while preserving the craftsmanship, personality, and history that have always defined Lanzini.
For me, this is more than launching another website. It represents decades of friendship, custom cars, music, Overhaulin’, and a business I’ve been fortunate enough to watch evolve.
The technology may have changed, but the heart of Lanzini remains exactly where it belongs.
